Our integrity sets us apart; unlike other consultancies and bid writing companies, we don’t like to waste your time or money. We are transparent and honest throughout each step of every process. As part of our tender writing and bid management service, a full tender review will take place to ensure we only invest time and money bidding for contracts we can win.

When you choose K Low Consulting you will be provided with a clear timeline of the project which drives the entire process. We have a strong focus on a collaboration with our clients and work as partners at throughout and beyond, believing that partnership is a vital part of ensuring that an exceptional bid is submitted on time, every time.

The bid writing process is closely monitored at all stages to ensure that each question presents correct, compelling information that scores the highest points possible. We maintain an open dialogue with clients, missing no critical details. We will proactively engage with the identified key contributors within your organisation, or other essential stakeholders, to gather the key information needed to create a winning bid.

Our tender writing and management process has been built upon thousands of learning cycles, comprising of over 50 key discreet tasks designed to make certain that you receive a bespoke bid solution. This is configured across the following stages:

‘Go, No-Go’ Decision – Stage 1

We will evaluate compliance, eligibility, and commercial feasibility with a full competitor analysis of your tender. This exhaustive process considerably increases win rate, optimises bid resources, and will evaluate if contract growth is aligned to the company’s strategic objective.

Planning – Stage 2

Having an effective planning stage is the most important component of the process. During this phase, you and your bid partner will collaboratively design a full Project Plan specific to the needs of your organisation and the task ahead. From there, we conduct thorough research and help you to understand the issues of the contract which certified that there will be a coherent delivery model and contract strategy that will ultimately provide you with the tools to win more contracts.

Bid Production – Stage 3

We guarantee you an engaging, compelling, effective bid that is bespoke to your organisation, appropriate to the needs of the bid, and compliant with word-limits / specification requirements.

Sign-Off and Submission – Stage 4

We support you throughout the submission process by discussing the process and its requirements. We ensure the sign-off process is bespoke to fully align to your internal quality assurance and governance protocols. To secure the best quality bid, each tender response undergoes internal peer review.

Once we hand over the bid, our support continues; we will listen to and address any feedback or recommendations from your internal team. We work hand-in-hand with you to finalise and assure a fully compliant upload and submission. As we submit hundreds of bids, we have excellent familiarity and understanding of the idiosyncrasies of all public sector tender portals. To mitigate any risk with submission, wherever possible we highly recommend our support is taken on the day of submission.

Post-submission – Stage 5

Post-submission can be stressful and demanding. At K Low Consulting, we strive to alleviate that pressure from your organisation. We will be available to provide quick, responsive support for any subsequent clarifications or other Commissioner requests – noting that these often need resolving within less than 24-48 hours in order to remain part of the process.

Once we have won the contract, let us help you to deliver against your Mobilisation or Implementation Plan. It is important to get the contract running correctly: allocating resources, delivering KPIs, and ensuring Business as usual is met. For the next stage of the process, please read about our Implementation and Contract Management Support (phase 4).

In the unlikely event that we lose a bid, we won’t walk away. We won’t give up. We will provide review scoring, feedback, and give critical advice on the tender specification, evaluation, and highlight any grounds for appeal. Additionally, we can facilitate legal advice if required.
