Our ethos is to truly get to know our clients, forming the relationships needed to both create create compelling tender submissions and embed winning bid strategies as a key part of wider business growth planning. We work across multiple sectors, to include extensive experience in healthcare, social care and other specialist sector procurement such as education and debt recovery.  Irresepctive of opportunity, every bid we write is synonymous with best-practice methodology from insight gained from 1000’s of cycles of learning. Krisja Low: Owner of K Low Consulting

K Low Consulting is owned and run by Krisja Low, who has a wealth of experience in the industry. Krisja has experience in commercial bid writing and has worked with and managed over 50 professional bid writers. As a reflection of his hard-working ethic and attention to quality, Krisja has led the strategy development and management of over 200 Health and Social Care tender submissions; from specialist framework applications through to large integrated community health service of £500M+, covering 40 different clinical pathways. As a result, those clients have secured over £1Bn in contract value, at a win rate of 91%. He leads our governance, developing our future business plans, identifying growth opportunities and new ways of working.

Appreciate that usual working ours are 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. However, if we deliver work outside of these time brackets, we will do it as an exception not as expectation and if it is required to get the best possible outcome for you.

David Oakes: Consultant Bid Manager

With a background extending across local government, charity, third and private-sector roles, David brings a detailed understanding of the Health and Social care bidding landscape. This insight sitting alongside an established track record in Bid Management, delivering over £350m of new contract growth in the last 5 years with a win-rate of 89% across all submissions made.  

David’s expertise ranges from working with large-scale market leaders (Specsavers, Lifeways, Turning Point) through to start-ups and SMEs keen to explore how strategic, high-quality bid management can deliver  growth. Irrespective of size, his principles and core approach remains the same, working in partnership with organisations to: help them identify their strengths, provide marketplace insight, write compelling content and lead them through the often complex world of public and private sector procurement. 

Alongside his bid expertise, David is also able to help companies with their contract implementation and management processes (functions he has performed for both supplier and commissioning organisations). Aspects of this support include contract compliance, contract mobilisation, performance management, as well as ongoing advice and guidance as to how they can evidence impact. This work enabling companies to enhance current deliery and position themselves for future contract growth and repeat business.

Experienced Associates

Katie

An experienced and highly efficient project manager, Katie has managed bids in the public, private and voluntary sectors. She uses her governance, project management and fundraising expertise to help charities and social enterprises to think strategically, plan projects and raise funds. In 2015, she was part of a voluntary sector team that successfully bid for a £2.7m contract to deliver the Small Steps Big Changes Family Mentor Service in Nottingham.

A member of the Institute of Fundraising since 2003, Katie holds the Certificate in Fundraising Management, delivers fundraising training and is Treasurer of the Institute of Fundraising’s East Midlands Committee.

A highly competent bid writer and consultant with over 20 + years in the financial sector focusing on business system development and a degree in Economics from The University of Lancaster .

David’s early career gave him rich experience of project management, business analysis and implementation of new systems.

His specialism is working with subject matter experts, helping them identify and communicate the unique qualities that make their organisation that one that should win.

Chris

Chris is an Extended Scope Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with 15 years of experience delivering Physiotherapy in Orthopaedic Clinics within Hospital and Community settings. 

Chris has implemented and run integrated community services for leading MSK providers such as Circle and Connect, as well as NHS Trusts across London and the South-East. His expertise in clinical governance and procedures is second-to-none. Due to his expertise Chris is routinely commissioned to produce clinical guidance notes for other clinicians.
